Telangana Becomes First Indian State at Osaka Expo 2025

Telangana has made a historic mark on the global stage by becoming the first Indian state to be officially represented at the Osaka Expo 2025 in Japan. The Expo, held once every five years, is one of the world’s largest international events, bringing together countries and regions to showcase their culture, innovation, and progress.
Leading this proud moment, Hon’ble Chief Minister of Telangana, Shri Revanth Reddy, headed the official #TelanganaRising delegation, launching India's presence at the Expo. Accompanied by Industries Minister Shri Sridhar Babu, the Chief Minister became one of the first dignitaries to enter the Bharat Pavilion and officially unveil the Telangana zone.
This occasion also marked a milestone as it was the first-ever visit by a Chief Minister of Telangana to Japan, or to any World Expo event.
At the Osaka Expo, Telangana is showcasing the richness of its diverse culture, flourishing industrial sector, traditional arts, thriving tourism, and technological advancements. The state’s dedicated pavilion features vibrant exhibits that reflect Telangana’s achievements and potential on a global scale.
Through this prestigious platform, Telangana aims to attract international investments, promote its business-friendly environment, and foster global cultural and economic partnerships.
